Status guide

Green means everything’s working. Here’s what each status means, and what to do on the rare occasion something isn’t green.

ConnectorIn the Connector

StatusWhereWhat it means
connectedBullionLinked to your dashboard and ready. Trades can come through.
connectingBullionLinking up. Give it a few seconds. If it stays here, check your internet.
MT5 connectedMetaTrader 5Logged in to MT5 and your account is in sync.
MT5 startingMetaTrader 5MT5 is opening or restarting. Usually clears within about 15 seconds.
MT5 login failedMetaTrader 5Your login, server, or password is off. Re-check them and reconnect.

DashboardOn your dashboard

StatusWhereWhat it means
onlineConnectionYour Connector checked in recently. Everything's live.
offlineConnectionNo check-in for a couple of minutes. Make sure the computer running the Connector is on and online.
connectedAccountYour MT5 account is linked and trading. Balance and trades are up to date.
disconnectedAccountBullion hasn't confirmed MT5 for this account yet. Check the connection status first.

AlertsOn your alerts

StatusWhereWhat it means
executedAlertThe signal came in and the trade was placed. Done.
queuedAlertReceived and about to be placed. Usually a split second.
failedAlertThe trade didn't go through. Often a symbol name mismatch or the account was offline. The reason is shown next to it.
no connectionAlertNo connected account to place the trade on. Reconnect, and future alerts will go through.

Behind the scenesBehind the scenes

You don’t need to think about any of this, but it explains the occasional few-second delay: Bullion checks in every few seconds, refreshes your balance and trades about twice a minute, and keeps an eye on MetaTrader 5 the whole time, restarting it for you if it ever freezes.

Just connected and your account still shows disconnected? Give it up to 30 seconds for the first sync before worrying. It usually flips to green on its own.
